every year cassie's family participates in the run, rock and roll 5k sponsered by the brain injury association of utah. cassie's older brother, larry, was in a car accident years ago that left him with a brain injury. but he hasn't let that injury slow him down too much. he has won first place in his division {recumbant bike} for the past few years now! way to go larry! i love their family and how tight-knit they all are. very supportative of each other. it's totally inspiring. so i was pleased as punch that cass invited me to join in on the fun run.

Word! I'm sorry I wasn't able to make it...really truly you don't know how it pains my heart to have my friends actually participate in a race and me not be a part of it. I can't make Lavender Days but I'm going to find another 5k for shizzle! Good job!
