my suggestion, even though we have already talked lots about this, is to plan. these cities have endless works of art and architecture, incredible restaurants, SHOPPING...but you will find yourself overwhelmed and not knowing where to start or what to do if you don't plan. so...i suggest you do some research. decide what you really want to see the most. then decide what you would love to see if, for some reason plan A falls through. (museums, restaurants and stores in europe tend to close at weird hours or be closed randomly for days at a time). write down addresses, entrance fees, where to buy tickets (or buy them ahead of time), etc etc etc all before you get to europe. this way...you won't be wandering aimlessly and wasting precious hours trying to decide where to go, what to do, how to get there.

but also, be flexible. if something better or more interesting comes along...go for it!

im so jealous! you will love every minute.

We loved those places. Just make sure you get some adequate sleep before you get there. You heard the story.

my advice - learn how blow in one of those ginormous horns on the swiss alps and then yell "Ricola!"

I highly agree with Andrea. Plan ahead so you don't waste oh so precious time. You will LOVE IT! Those places are beautiful. I LOVED Bern. It's such a fun town. Get some gorgonzola pizza for me in Italy. And eat lots of ice cream. You guys will have so much fun!
